When women started entering the world of sports, they had to deal with a lot of prejudice. The then male dominated sports industry scoffed at the idea that women would be competing in various manly sports. They believe that the place of women were in the home and not in the track and field or diamond field. Well, nowadays you won't even think that women are incapable of competing in such "manly sports". women today have shown as capable of dominating sports like track and field, tennis, basketball, etc.

But with due to the increasing number of women athletes, clothing manufacturers and sports experts have begun developing the right clothing for them. women athletes have some specific needs that need to be addressed in order for them to compete properly in some sporting events. Researchers have come up with high-tech performance fabrics that help create sports apparel that are both comfortable and function for the women athlete.

A lot of sports stores today offer a complete line of women and girls sports apparel. You can find for example, sports bras made of spandex materials that feature high necklines which provide full coverage and maximum support. Designers have thought of incorporating arched seams and used the right combination of hook-and-eye closures to provide an extremely strong hold. Some sports bras also have wide elastic panels to keep the bra in place.

These include aerobics, fitness activities, running, yoga, golf and tennis. The main premise that fashion designers try to uphold is for women enjoy a good work out while looking attractive and feeling sexy.

This only proves that sports shops should not limit their target market to professional women athletes. They have a wide market base of women who are simply into sports just for the heck of it. And these women are more than willing to spend to get the appropriate clothing. On November 22, 2005, Microsoft released the long awaited xbox 360, the next generation of its popular xbox gaming console. The XBox 360, however, goes farther than any game system that users are currently accustomed to. The xbox 360 is more like a fully functional, broadband connected entertainment gadget that appeals to gamers but is equipped to entertain the whole family.

Although smaller than the original xbox (The 360 weighs in at a mere 7.7 lbs), this version packs so many nifty features in a small package. If you also happen to own a HDTV, you will truly be able to appreciate the advanced graphics features and support for windscreen (16:9) format. Of course, the console will work on regular television as well, but the depth of the graphics will be particularly stunning on more advanced televisions. The xbox 360 carries a ATI graphics processor and 10MB of embedded DRAM. This setup allows the xbox 360 to draw up to 500 million triangles per second for the ultimate in realistic graphics.

For game save and other media storage, you can optionally purchase a 20GB external harddrive which also serves to make the xbox 360 backwards compatible with original xbox games.

The xbox 360 goes well beyond the range of gaming and video with its built-in ethernet port that allows users to connect via their broadband connection to xbox live (available in various flavors). xbox live will allow you to play live over the Internet, use voice and even video chat and, of course, purchase additional goodies for your xbox. In addition to ethernet connectivity, you can optionally purchase wireless adapters that comply with the standard wireless 802.11 protocol for integration into your existing wireless network. For other data transfer tasks, such as uploading of your digital photos, digital home movies, and music, you can use the integrated USB 2.0 port. With all of these features, it is a piece of cake to stream all of your digital files.

As you can see, the xbox 360 offers a little something for everyone. Kids can enjoy the futuristic gaming capabilities (check game ratings for age appropriateness), and Mom and Dad can enjoy the file sharing, music and video streaming, and home theater features.

What are a yoga teachers biggest challenges? Is it the hours of yoga teacher training? Is it the continuing education? No, education and certification can be a challenge, but its none of these issues that make up the biggest challenge.

The largest challenges yoga instructors face are influencing students to independently take care of their own health and to maintain their yoga practice. It is extremely difficult to change the way people think.

The saying, People are creatures of habit, is so true. If a student sat on the couch for decades, a yoga teacher needs extraordinary powers of influence to keep that student from going back to the life of a couch potato. So, what can a yoga teacher do? Here are some ideas for yoga teachers to retain student interest.

Inspire them with your passion for Yoga. Have you ever had a low energy day? If you did, and you taught a Yoga class, you can bet your students had a feeling something was not quite right about that class. The amount of energy you bring into a class is transparent.

If you are a motivator, and you strive for excellence, you will inspire your students to be the same. The only way to lead a Yoga class is by being an inspiration. If you are anything less, you will resemble the masses who hate their jobs. I have yet to meet a Yoga teacher who does not like to teach classes. Therefore, make sure your students know how much you love Yoga.
